A Recap of our Session

On June 6, 2024, the sun came out in London, making for a beautiful day at Legal Geek Growth. Thank you to the team at Legal Geek for their time and effort in putting on such a fantastic event. It was a pleasure to engage with so many passionate and forward-thinking legal professionals and innovators, and the sessions were very informative too.

A big "Thank You" to everyone who visited our stand and attended our session; your interest and interaction made the event even more rewarding.

We look forward to continuing these valuable conversations and collaborations in the future. And if you weren't there and missed our session - here's a little recap:

SpeechFill: Effortless Document Automation and Data Capture using the power of your voice.

Ben Capsticks from Philips Dictation and Karl Chapman from Kim introduced everyone to SpeechFill, a transformative collaboration that combines Philips' voice recognition technology's robust capabilities with Kim's advanced document generation and data capture solution.  You can read the full press release here.

The Power of Voice in Document Automation

The synergy between Kim's invisible, behind-the-scenes document generation and data capture solution and Philips' SpeechLive was evident during the session. SpeechFill is not just about voice-to-text; it's about turning spoken words into structured documents and actionable data without the need for manual data rekeying. Karl eloquently illustrated this by discussing the potential applications, from generating NDAs, client engagement letters, and client care letters to information security checklists, all through the power of your voice. And the best part? The documents are generated with your branding and styles since we use your existing documents to create the applications.

1 Imagine speaking to fill out forms automatically, which then generates documents or populates other systems with the data collected—all through your voice.

2 Simply speak to create forms and documents like NDAs or compliance checklists, and seamlessly integrate the data into other systems—all activated by your voice.

Effortless Integration and Rapid Deployment

One of SpeechFill's standout features, highlighted by Karl, is its ease of integration and rapid deployment capabilities. As Karl and Ben attested, implementing SpeechFill can take as little as one to two days. This swift setup involves uploading your existing documents to Kim, which turns them into applications. A webform is created and ready to be populated via voice commands. This process simplifies document creation and ensures data is seamlessly captured and ready to be utilized in other systems like CRM platforms, Practice Management Systems or SharePoint.

Simplification without Compromise

A recurring theme in the presentation was the importance of simplification in technology adoption. Karl's philosophy of not burdening users with learning new tools but rather using intuitive technologies like voice interaction is a testament to SpeechFill's simplicity. This aligns perfectly with today's needs for efficiency and accessibility in technology solutions.

The partnership between Kim and Philips Dictation showcased through SpeechFill, represents a significant step forward in using voice technology for more than communication. It encapsulates a future where voice creates, transforms, and integrates across platforms and industries.

As we look forward to the possibilities that SpeechFill brings, it's clear that this innovation is set to make waves in how we approach document automation and data capture. It's not just a product; it's a gateway to a more efficient and inclusive digital workspace.

Beyond Simple Dictation

Karl then delved into the role of generative AI in firms. He asked the audience how actively they integrated AI tools into their daily operations. Are they helping them draft marketing materials or initial document outlines?

Interestingly, despite AI's apparent ubiquity, many still haven't tapped into its full potential. Karl went on to highlight a pivotal shift in the use of generative AI that we're pioneering. Currently, the process largely involves generating new content from content—input a prompt, and the AI provides text, images, or other content based on that input.

However, the future we're steering towards is even more exciting. Imagine transforming this content into functional applications. These applications could revolutionize how we handle document generation, data capture, and the integration of this data across different platforms. The potential to internalize and externalize these applications could significantly streamline organizational workflows.

This is not just a vision but a tangible next step in AI's evolution, where content doesn't just inform but actively functions and facilitates business processes. This is the future we're building.

Evolving to Simplicity

SpeechFill transforms webform handling by combining speech dictation technology with document automation and data capture. It allows users to easily populate forms via speech and enhances organizational accessibility.
