Cancun office to strengthen development capacity and provide additional resource pools for Kim
Atlanta, October 4, 2022: Kim, the no-code, SaaS, patent protected, document generation, assembly and workflow automation platform, which is proven with Fortune 500 organizations in a range of sectors including legal, financial services, professional services, pharmaceuticals and telecoms, has opened a new IT Development Center in Cancun, Mexico to complement its existing teams in the US and UK.
This follows the recent announcement that Kim has opened a second US office in Atlanta and
appointed Melody Easton as VP Marketing and Samantha Jefferies as VP of Business Development.
Cancun Development Center
The new Cancun Development Center will significantly enhance Kim’s development capacity and
provide additional resource pools to draw from alongside the existing teams in the US and the UK.
“We selected Cancun having developed, over many years, a strong relationship with one of our key technology partners who provide integration, development and QA support to us” said Richard Yawn, CTO and Founder of Kim. “Like all organizations, we operate a mixed model of office/remote working plus employed/outsourced technical support, to ensure that we can scale our development and support teams, deliver our product strategy and respond to customer needs.”
Kim Enterprise and Kim Business Solutions
Kim has two solution tiers - Enterprise and Business. At the Enterprise tier, use cases include Global Legal Operations Platforms, Request Management and Self Service, Contract Lifecycle Management, Compliance, Company Secretarial, and Clinical Trials Agreements. The focus on our strategy of ‘meeting Users where they are, in the tools they are familiar with’ is proving very popular. Why ask people to learn a new tool when you can use Kim seamlessly in MS Word, Outlook, MS Teams?
Kim’s Business Solutions tier, Kim Document is the entry level product that allows small, medium and large organizations to get started quickly, in minutes, with their document automation projects. This product is showing strong market traction and, as one of our customers commented, ‘it democratizes document automation’ (see Artificial Lawyer article - The Democratization of Document Automation).
“This is an exciting time for all involved with Kim - our customers, colleagues and partners,” said Karl Chapman, CEO of Kim. “We are expanding rapidly, and to support this we are stepping up our R&D investment again, with significant enhancements to both our existing enterprise solution, which has been available since May 2016 and is on version 11.3 and our Business product (Kim Document) which was released in Spring 2022."
